Motorsportauto review

Motorsport auto is known as being one of the most reputable online Z parts retailers.  Their parts range from the 1969 240z up to the 2010 370z and their prices are very reasonable.

Shop Interface

The interface and shopping cart feel a little clunky compared to other online shops, but it’s serviceable and gets the job done.  If they reorganized their categories and laid out the navigation in a more “standard” format, like eBay Motors it would be a far less jarring experience.

Support Department

I just had my first interaction with them, and I have to say I’m extremely impressed.  It’s not often that an online retailer gets an order right, but they even added on a clutch hose that I forgot to order.  I wouldn’t have even remembered if they hadn’t answered a question I had about the intake/exhaust manifold studs.  I can’t really comment on the shipping times because I was away for vacation, but my roommates were surprised by how quickly my parts arrived.

Parts

I haven’t seen any other centralized place that stocks a better selection.  They have lots to browse through, have information available on nearly everything, and ship quickly.  Likewise, their prices are very reasonable.  If you dig deep, you’ll be able to find a better deal here or there, but it comes down to is that my time is worth money, and it’s a better deal for me to let them find and organize the parts and prices.

Overall

I’m very impressed.  A big thanks to Garrett, who helped me select the right parts and even squeezed emergency parts into the order at the end.  I would (and most likely will) do business with them again.
